Accounts Assistant - Cheltenham
Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per annum on a pro rata basis
(depending on experience)
We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts and Administration function on a Part Time basis 3 days per week.
You’ll be expected to assist the monthly running of an accounts department alongside supporting the office with administration tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who would like a stable part time position based in Cheltenham.

You will be responsible for;
* Maintaining Sales Ledger: Raising customer Invoices
* Credit Control (Chasing overdue debts)
* Maintaining Purchase Ledger: Ensure contractor invoices & approved timesheets are received on a timely basis and processed
* Processing staff expenses
* Company credit card Reconciliation
* Process all Supplier & Expenses Payments
* Reconcile Bank on a daily Basis
Essential Experience:
* You’ll ideally be AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualified, part qualified or working towards
* Knowledge of Excel to a minimum of intermediate level.
* Knowledge of Xero would be advantageous but full training will be provided.
Administration:
* Support our Recruitment Department with Administrative activities.
* Answering the telephone.
Other Duties:
* Dealing with problems quickly & efficiently
* Ad hoc tasks as and when required by Company Accountant
Desirable Skills:
* A “can do” attitude
* Confident and methodical
* Attention to detail
* Able to work to strict deadlines and complete tasks on a timely basis
