Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm

Midland Chilled Foods is a successful national wholesaler and is part of the huge GRANAROLO group of companies abroad and in the UK, supplying chilled, frozen and ambient products to a diverse customer base. Due to continuous growth we are seeking to strengthen our existing sales team by recruiting a highly motivated tele sales operative.
Experience: Ideally, 2 years in a busy sales environment
Desirable Skills
* Previous customer service/sales experience in a contact centre office environment.
* Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
Main Duties & Responsibilities include:
* Answering incoming customer calls, processing sales orders.
* Making outgoing calls in order to sell products and services from a scheduled call plan.
* Upsell products to existing customers
* Efficiently update customer information on to sales system.
* Develop essential knowledge of our products
* Meeting relevant KPIs to give consistent performance.
* Dealing with customer queries and complaints in a professional manner.
* Building Relationships with our other departments.
Essential Skills
* Punctuality and Reliability
* Be a team player that is willing to think "outside the box"
* Polite telephone manner.
* Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team.
* Target driven and be able to complete at least 80 calls per day.
* Good PC skills with ability to learn and understand CRM systems
* Great communication skills, including active listening and paying attention to detail.
Overall Purpose of the Role:
As a tele sales team member you will be joining a successful and hardworking department assisting customers with placing their orders as well as answering any queries they may have with their accounts. To ensure Midland Food Group deliver the best customer service we aim to promote our products and services by phone, answering incoming calls and making outgoing sales calls. As part of our restructuring plans, new IT systems are being introduced to help keep us at the top of our game.
