Part Time Consultancy opportunity

The client is a fast growing Business Services Company, with core business currently built around a portfolio of training, consultancy, accreditation and associated services. The services model comprises both direct service delivery, and also outsourced commercial partnership arrangements. They work with large Corporates across the UK, and also public sector organisations, and have a number of high profile contracts, and must work to a high level of professionalism and quality.

They are well positioned for expansion, and have ambitious objectives to grow the business significantly, which will involve scaling up and evolving their existing core services, but also creating new lines of business and revenue streams.

Reporting to the CEO, and working collaboratively with colleagues in Finance, Sales, Marketing and Operations, this is a commercial innovation and proposition development role, which is responsible for identifying and exploring new commercial growth opportunities, building sound business cases for products and services, and defining go-to-market strategies which are scalable and robust. This may well include JV, partnerships or BPO arrangements, and the role will create a pipeline of creative and tangible ideas and strategies. You will also be expected to assist with the implementation and launch of these new growth strategies and products. New innovations may be within, adjacent to, or separate from core business, and may integrate both services and technology; in this regard the role will require a holistic view of the market, and offers an exciting opportunity to direct the path of a rapid growth business.

The role may suit a Consultant looking for a part-time role or interim opportunity. Candidates will have experience of scoping, innovating, and developing new commercial propositions, and this may have been gained across a variety of services sectors. Candidates will need to understand how technology integrates with services, for instance the likes of digital tech such as Apps and web platforms. The client is looking for a blend of creativity, commercial acumen, and the ability to think strategically but also be very hands-on.
