About the roleTo support our team of over 20,000 people within the UK we have a strong Reward team who provide advice and guidance to our staff across all aspects of Reward throughout the year.

This a key role within our internal reward team. The internal reward team provides reward advice and support on employee reward policy and implementation for the UK firm. The team also owns the strategic and operational delivery and ongoing management of a comprehensive range of employee benefits.

The internal reward team is part of the firm’s People Teams community and consists of a group of 12 including analysts, managers and senior managers reporting to the Head of Reward, who is part of the People Leadership team.

We are now looking for an experienced Reward Manager to work alongside the head of reward and benefits and the senior benefits leaders on strategic and operational projects and policy.

 

 

Who we are looking for:We are looking for someone with previous reward experience, experience working within professional services or the technology sector would be helpful. You will need to demonstrate strong analytical, written and commercial skills plus experience of dealing with a range of stakeholders.

The role will cover both operational, policy and more strategic firmwide reward projects. It will also include dealing with complex day to day queries as the need arises. This is a business orientated role and would suit an individual who is enthusiastic and keen to practice their reward and project management skills in an operational environment.
It is preferable to have had previous reward and/or wider analytical experience. An ability to demonstrate strong analytical and modelling skills is essential as well as being able to demonstrate strong stakeholder/project management skills. The role may also suit an individual from a professional services firm in a client facing, data driven or finance role looking to move into an in-house operational role

Essential skills

  • Proven, demonstrable reward experience at professional / manager level with strong technical skills, knowledge of best practice and a broad understanding of commercial and business issues.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience of using excel and/ or other tools for detailed analysis of data and data visualisation.

  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills and ability to flex style in a fluid, ambiguous environment and with members of the leadership teams.

  • Able to apply consultative style on complex issues, before reaching a conclusion.

  • Able to plan and organise complex projects successfully, including the delegation of tasks as necessary, in a structured and practical way.

  • Able to manage risks and costs on behalf of the firm/each line of service.

  • Able to effectively manage and motivate team members to deliver on agreed objectives.

  • Experience of WorkDay
