Position Overview

As Programme Manager you will ensure that the works are constructed to the relevant standards, technical specifications, on time, to the customer's satisfaction, in a cost-efficient manner, taking into Programme the relevant health and safety standards that must be followed to complete the works safely.

In this role you will collect, collate and distribute information to Supervisors, teams and contractors, then supervise to ensure work is completed to time, budget and to specification.

We are looking for someone who can deliver and exceed our customers' targets for delivery and quality in the field by effective performance management of the Supervisor and mentoring and coaching approach to the field operatives as well as sub-contractors.

Proactively manage and support the field operatives within a framework of continuous improvement.

Working with field resource to optimise productivity increasing revenue whilst driving operational best practise to reduce costs.

You will be a motivational leader who can lead the service delivery team with particular emphasis on health, safety quality and the environment; and to ensure that both the client and end customers are delighted with the services and solutions that are provided, and that an excellent image for the company and the client, is presented to customers, stakeholders and the public and others at all times.



What are we looking for?

  • In-depth experience of telecoms networks including all required Telecom accreditation.
  • Must have the ability to identify risks and introduced sufficient controls to manage risk
  • Familiar with FTTP type builds
  • Ability to influence at all levels including clients and local authorities
  • Relevant knowledge and experience in fibre to the home activities
  • Competent where appropriate in managing resources who undertake Excavation and duct laying - Backfill and compaction - Hot Lay Reinstatement - Cold Lay Reinstatement - Cabling - Blown Fibre - Splicing - Testing
  • Experiencing of managing front line management
  • In-depth experience of telecoms networks including all required BT accreditation.
  • Must have the ability to identify risks and introduced sufficient controls to manage risk
  • Relevant knowledge and experience in fibre to the home activities
  • Experiencing of managing front line management and working closely with operations team
  • Experience in utilities planning
  • Understanding of NRSWA, TMA, noticing and permits.
