I’m recruiting for a Mechanical Estimator to join an award winning Mechanical Contractor who are a specialist in Design & Build Mechanical installations.

This position will allow you to grow in a company that really invest in the progression and training of their staff with the large majority of their senior staff rising up through promotions and vacancies arising from expansion.

The role of Estimator will see you working on projects ranging between £5K and £2M in value, across the UK, the majority our work is carried out in house and this position will be based from our fresh and modern head office with visits to sites to carry out surveys and attend meetings generally 1-2 day a week.

We are looking for an Estimator, who has a good understanding of Design and Build Mechanical Projects as well as experience of the mechanical services discipline.

General Duties include:

• Preparing estimates, coordinating design requirements and quotations from site surveys and tendering for works

• Providing support on tenders and project to the contracts team

• Assisting with the scheduling of materials and sub-contractors

• Excellent customer communication

I’m keen to speak to anyone who has experience in Estimating, Costing or Quoting on Design and Build projects. Training will be provided where necessary, and I’m looking to speak to anyone who has relevant experience.
