THE COMPANY
A local business who are well known in their sector are looking for a part-time Payroll Clerk. Do you have 3 years’ experience in Payroll? Experience of working to deadlines and live local to Walsall? Apply now! You will be working as part of the HR team as the Payroll Clerk and will carry out all fundamental tasks of the Payroll process.
THE ROLE
Processing payrolls from start to finish and collating and processing timesheets. Payroll for over 450 staff, monthly and weekly. Completing payroll using Sage 50 Payroll and processing employee pensions. Liaising with employees and dealing with payroll related questions. Working on year end reporting and dealing with all starters and leavers. Responsible for all deductions including SSP, SMP and PIIDS.
REQUIREMENTS
You will have Sage 50 payroll experience is essential and the ability to engage with clients in a friendly but professional way; Good knowledge of PAYE and Auto Enrolment Pension Schemes; and experience in processing a variety of payrolls; A good understanding of Microsoft Office packages, such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
