My client, a contractor based close to Chester le Street are seeking a temporary, part time Administrator to join their team, on an ongoing temporary basis. This is subject to change depending upon the clients business needs.
Ideally you will be able to work 8.30am-1.00pm Monday to Friday, or alternatively 22.5 hours across 3 days.
The duties of the role are listed below, however this list is not exhaustive and you will be required to assist within other areas of the business as and when required.
To note - You must possess a prove-able work history within a high level administrative role in order to be considered for this position.
Essential skills
- Experience using Adobe and PDF compiling
- Strong I.T. skills within Word and Excel (reporting)
Marketing Admin
Updating profile sheets/ CV/ general documentation
Financial Admin
- Updating material sheets on server
- Matching invoices with delivery notes (Sage ACT)
- Raising queries with supplier
- Liaising with staff (on site and off site)
Bid/Tender Admin
- Setting up & printing out tenders
- Advising of tender updates
- Enquiry packages
- Following up enquiries
- Compiling quality tender submissions
- Uploading tender information
General Office Admin
- Holiday spreadsheet
- Office safety and maintenance
- Post in/out
- Setting up office contract files
- Typing as required
- Compiling manuals
- Document control
- Answering phone/greeting visitors
- Hire Vehicles/ weekly vehicle check sheets
- Insurance MID notification
- Stationery orders
- Ordering fuel cards
- Filing/ Photocopying
- Updating databases/spreadsheet
