Job Details

Main Purpose

To assist the operational team by managing all crew activities in line with standardised operational processes. Review and analyse of performance and identification/implementation of remedial action. To support service delivery to the required levels of productivity and quality in accordance with the 'right first time' approach and to both Company and client requirements.



Duties to include

  • Hours of work 05:45 - 14:15 / 14:15 - 22:15 (1/2 hour unpaid break).
  • Effectively supervise the operation of the MBT.
  • Managing waste Operatives.
  • Ensuring the operation of the Mechanical, Biological Treatment facility is carried out in line with the documented procedures.
  • Effectively supervise the control of the Mechanical, Biological treatment facility.
  • Ensure mobile plant checks and servicing is carried out to schedule.
  • Ensure the facility is in a clean and serviceable condition at all times.
  • To enforce daily standards of housekeeping around the plant and in the control room.
  • To spot potential problems and arrange preventative works to mitigate downtime.
  • To react quickly to unplanned stoppages to mitigate downtime to the plant.
  • To ensure staff maintain high levels of personal hygiene.
  • Schedule jobs for the team in line with the MBT operation and maintenance program.
  • Control and supervise contractors to ensure compliance with agreed RAMS.
  • To ensure all tasks are carried out in line with the documented procedures.
  • Ensure people and jobs comply with the Health and Safety requirements.
  • Ensure the paperwork is up to date and document new procedures (Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Work Instructions).
  • Ensure scheduled checks and maintenance is carried out at the appropriate times.
  • Ensure all checks are recorded and reported.
  • Manage absence and annual leave.
  • Arrange team briefs and training.
  • Effectively communicate with MBT management.



Skills Required

  • Must be able to speak English.
  • Must be able to use a PC (Word, Excel).
  • Must be able to get to and from site reliably, therefore a car is essential.
  • Be able to effectively communicate with a multinational team.
  • Able to manage a team.
