Location: Hillier Garden Centre, Hemel Hempstead
Reporting to: Department Manager

Role Purpose:
As a Retail Assistant, whether you are on the shop floor, or at the checkout, you will be responsible for ensuring great customer service. The role is exciting and varied and offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating garden centre tills, adhering to the company’s Till Procedure Policy, following suitable training.
- Providing the highest standards of customer service at all times within the garden centre.
- Liaising with the wider management team to ensure an excellent understanding of products on sale.
- Demonstrating a high level of accuracy throughout all aspects of the General Assistant role.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong team player with a “can do” attitude
- Great communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for providing the very best customer service.
- Work with energy, pace and passion.
