Salary: £32,473 - £37,670 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent, Full time, 36 hours per week

Camden Accessible Travel Solutions is located at the Councils York Way depot and is responsible for procuring Camden's fleet of vehicles for all of its services. It also operates minibus, bus and coach services for special educational needs children and transport to and from day centres for older and disabled people. The Services additional functions includes administering accessible transport schemes such as the Freedom Pass, Taxicard and Blue Badges schemes for eligible people, as well as bespoke schemes such as PlusBus and the award winning ScootAbility scheme.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accessible Transport Coordinator to join our multi-disciplinary team. the main objective for the post holder is to contribute in delivering all aspects of the accessible transport service e.g. Freedom Pass, Blue Badges, Taxicard, Disabled Drivers Assessment, Plusbus schemes, ScootAbility and other Accessible Transport Schemes that may fall within the remit of Accessible Transport, including assisting in developing work programmes, project plans and training programmes. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high quality assessment service that ensures accurate and timely processing of information whilst ensuring continuous improvement is achieved and that lessons learned from service reviews are incorporated into best practice.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS .

To be considered for this vacancy the successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of a range of administration duties and be fully proficient in Microsoft Office packages as well as use of IT Systems. You will possess a keen analytical eye and possess the ability to extract, analyse and present data to illustrate trends or to support decision-making. The ideal candidate be customer focused and will have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) alongside the ability to influence stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes in a political environment. You will have an excellent understanding of the transport needs and issues faced by customers, particularly vulnerable older and disabled people.
