Casual Specialist Support Workers - Flexible Working Available
About the role
Sense has a great opportunity for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Specialist Support Worker in Dereham. We have a number of flexible casual hours that can fit around your current commitments.
As a Specialist Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible. Your patient support and encouragement will inspire individuals to reach their full potential. You will help personal care, support someone to engage with Sense activities, visiting the local cafe, all whilst having fun!
Sense also supports people to take part in some of our amazing arts and wellbeing activities – from dance to music making, swimming to rock climbing.
Experience is not necessarily required for this role as we are able to support you and provide you with an excellent induction. However, it is really important that you are able to demonstrate the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people’s lives.
For everyone living with complex disabilities. For everyone who is deafblind. Sense is here to help people communicate and experience the world.
We believe that no one, no matter how complex their disabilities, should be isolated, left out, or unable to fulfil their potential.
Sense has a proven record of offering high quality, pioneering services.
Working as a Support Worker at Sense can be incredibly rewarding; we offer the opportunity to work in a large, diverse and successful charity where people can develop their skills, knowledge and careers in a supportive and flexible environment. In addition, we have excellent training and development.
We will be contacting and interviewing candidate throughout the duration of the advert, prior to the closing date. Therefore, please be aware that the advert may close early due to this.
