We have an exciting opportunity for an aspiring apprentice in business administration to gain experience working with the Successful Places Team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside project managers & our community regeneration lead focussing on our three priorities for our communities:

*             Education
*             Reducing Isolation
*             Health and Wellbeing

As a Successful Places Apprentice Administrator you will learn to demonstrate a passion to support local communities and be part of a team to provide quality services to customers. During the apprenticeship you will work alongside an experienced Community Regeneration Manager and the wider Successful Places team to gain experience in all aspects of the role. You will meet a network of external partners and residents and learn a great deal about community regeneration, supporting the delivery of projects and initiatives for both customer involvement and engagement.

You will develop skills that will allow you to efficiently deliver effective customer service and project management. You’ll combine your creative flair and technical knowledge to help plan and promote community related events and activities. Responsible for designing flyers and publications for advertising activities and events, also administrative support to our website. We are looking for resilient and capable people who are looking to develop a career in community regeneration.

Strong organisation skills are essential to this role as well as excellent communication and an understanding of what first-class customer service skills are. We are looking for a candidate with resilience, drive, enthusiasm and a passion to help people.

Essential skills and experience include:

*             Excellent time management skills
*             Ability to multi task and work to deadlines
*             Good IT skills
*             Great communication skills
*             Self motivated

Key points about the programme:

*             Must have GCSE English at grade C or above, Maths at grade D or above, or equivalent
*             Must be able to work in the UK
*             Open to anyone aged 16 or over
*             No experience required
*             You will gain a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration                      (Provider will be Hawk Training)
*             You will not be selected if you already have a level 3 qualification                   or higher in an Administration.
*             Programme duration is 24 months
