Part Time Customer Services Administrator

New Malden, Surrey

24 hours per week – flexible working

Three month Contract - Possibility of permanent

Up to £22,000 per annum pro rata

A not-for-profit local charity with over 70 years’ experience of supporting people in the community, and a team of people who care passionately about providing high quality services. Currently seeking for an experienced and independent customer services administrator who can support the company’s clients and provide an excellent service over the phone and via email. Previous office experience is essential.

The ideal candidate will:

Be self-motivated

Have 1+ year in a commercial office environment

Be passionate about service and have experience in answering queries over the telephone

Live locally to the New Malden area

Have good IT and communication skills

Principal responsibilities of the role:

Answers telephone enquiries from customers in a courteous and timely manner.

Collect all required customer details.

Agrees date and time slot for collection services required, taking into account the most efficient and effective use of organised transport, as well as customer requirements.

Calculate and advise any charges due for service.

Collects payment via credit/debit card over the phone using card payment system (training provided).

Book job and client details onto database (training provided).

Reply to email/web collection enquiries to establish telephone contact then proceeds as above.

Fosters and develops good working relationships with customers, and members of staff.

Actively seek and record information on customers, including feedback comments on quality of service and ideas for new services in order to spot themes and trends and suggest ideas for improvement
