Part Time Psychologist - Looked After Children - West Yorks   West Yorkshire   up to £45,000 DOE pro rata           Remit   Compass Associates are proud to be working with one of the country's leading private providers of children's services to recruit a Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist. This is a part-time role, working 4 days per week, where you will be based from your own home and visit the children's residential homes located in Huddersfield, Bradford and Wakefield.       You will visit each site, on a monthly basis, to carry out initial psychological assessments and develop therapeutic plans for the children and young people arriving at the homes. Your role will be to monitor the progression of each young person as well as being involved in PACE training of other staff members. Despite being an autonomous practitioner, you will work with a designated Assistant Psychologist and have the support of a well establish Psychology team which includes: 3 Clinical Psychologists, a Counselling Psychologist, 5 Assistant Psychologists, Lead Forensic Psychologist and Clinical Director/Consultant Clinical Psychologist. There is a fortnightly Psychology team meeting in Cannock but if unable to attend every week, you can be involved some weeks via video call.       Commutable from: Bradford, Huddersfield, Leeds, Wakefield, Halifax, Dewsbury, Rochdale, Castleford, Keighley and surrounding towns.       Benefits 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays DDP training provided Individual Professional Development Training budget HCPC and BPS registration costs paid for Opportunities to be involved in research and delivering training Regular Clinical Supervision Laptop and phone provided   Candidate   The ideal candidate must have: HCPC registration as a Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist A Doctorate degree in Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychology A keen interest in attachment disorders and trauma Previous experience working with Looked After Children and/or in a CAMHS setting (preferable) A valid driving licence and own car DDP trained is desirable but if not, training will be provided   Interview Process   Two stage process: an informal chat followed by a face to face formal interview with the Clinical Director/Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Lead Psychologist.       Contact details   If you would like to be considered for this exciting opportunity, please contact Lynette Robb directly on [...
