SmithCarey Ltd recruit National Account, Consumer/Category Marketing, Product Development and Supply Chain individuals, at all levels, that develop, market and sell a broad variety of food, drink, non-food branded and private label products to retailers including Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Co-op, Aldi, Lidl, Iceland etc. It all sounds quite straight forward, however our clients require top sales & marketing talent for today and the future, so it’s a tough challenge for us to find and attract the best candidates for our clients!
SmithCarey Recruitment, www.smithcarey.co.uk , is now seeking to appoint a highly driven and dynamic Recruitment Researcher who will work with us on a part time basis as part of our recruitment team, tasked by our clients to attract the very best sales and marketing talent from across the FMCG industry.
The role entails sourcing candidates that match our client’s requirements for specific job roles. This will involve identifying talented individuals in the FMCG market via LinkedIn, social media and our extensive candidate database. Then, following up via telephone to attract and verbally brief the candidate on the specific job role in question, prior to the candidate being invited to a face to face interview with a Recruitment Director.
Where a particular candidate might not meet the specific client job brief but has a strong industry background and skill set, your remit is to secure their CV in order to build a talent pool that can be nurtured and matched to the right job role at some future point. In addition, you will provide support to the Recruitment Director’s team on specific projects in order to ensure client and candidate satisfaction.
You may be a passionate Researcher/Resourcer or Junior Recruitment Consultant, with a proven track record of finding top talent, looking for a more flexible working pattern. Alternatively you may have previous new Business Development experience and are looking for a change in career direction. Finally, you may be looking to return to work on a part time basis and are now seeking a fulfilling next role. If so, we would like to hear from you.
You will demonstrate robust organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently, possess a strong understanding of social media and be an excellent communicator and a strong relationship builder.
If you have a bright, confident personality, a can do attitude and a hunter approach, together with an ability to cut the ice with people you don’t know through social media, phone, email, text or carrier pigeon communications, then this could be the new challenge you’re looking for. This role will suit you if who wish to work from home on an individual search project basis day rate, so 2 / 3 days per week on a regular basis.
