Gloucestershire County Council are looking for an experienced Locum Social Worker to join their Children’s Safeguarding Team based in the Cotswolds. You will be child-centred with a caseload of CIN, CP, Court and initial CIC work.

Job Responsibilities

* You will carry a case load of children and families in line with the organisational needs of the service function, including Children in Need, Children in need of protection and Children who are looked after by the Local Authority

* As the Locum Social Worker, you will prepare, and present good quality written and oral reports

* Maintain accurate and up to date case recording in line with procedures

* Undertake comprehensive assessments of children and families in collaboration with other agencies

* You will plan effective outcome interventions, based on clear analysis and risk assessment

* You’ll be monitoring and reviewing the progress of plans and outcomes

Job requirements

* Social Work Qualification and a minimum of two years post qualifying experience

* HCPC registration

* Clear Enhanced DBS
