My Client in the Midlands is looking for an experienced Planner for an initial 3 month contract. We are looking for someone who has extensive and recent experience of working I a development management team of a local planning authority and someone who is used to dealing with difficult planning applications and someone with experience in presenting cases at planning committee.
The role will primarily involve working on complex and awkward minor planning applications including applications to enforcement cases. The ideal candidate should also be able to mentor and support planning officers.
The ideal candidate will be a chartered Town Planner. This role does not have management responsibilities. Experience of using Uniform and Idox would be beneficial. You must be a team player who enjoys providing a brilliant customer service, enjoys working in a busy and lively team.
The role is office based, and we are willing to consider full time, part time or compressed hours. The council also offers flexi time.
You must hold a Full UK Driving license and have access to a vehicle.
