Our client, a well-established, highly successful and growing Group of businesses based in Mid Kent, is seeking to appoint a senior finance professional to join them on a 6-month basis in a Senior Project Accountant role in either a full time or part time capacity. Working alongside the MD / FD, this individual will be responsible for a number of high level, add value projects, including:

·Review of the Group structure

·Reviewing Group bank accounts and re-structuring where appropriate

·Analysis of costs and implementing efficiencies

·Review and implementation of processes and controls

·Automating processes, including revenue recognition and rebates

·Review of contracts and suppliers

·Setting up company secretarial processes

·Corporation tax and VAT planning

·Ad-hoc project based work and providing support to the MD / FD and finance team

It is essential that candidates are formally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and possess demonstrable experience operating at a senior finance level in an FD or CFO role, or equivalent. Candidates should be comfortable operating independently and balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Senior Project Accountant will have strong business partnering skills and the adaptability to add value and relish this varied and challenging role.

Candidates must be able to start a role within a month and ideally as soon as possible.
