This is an exciting opportunity within our product and performance marketing team. In this role you will develop, plan and execute paid media strategy and campaigns across the business to support commercial objectives. The successful candidate for this role will have Expertise in PPC/Paid Search Marketing, data driven, understands commercial objectives and can use data to inform decision-making. You'll be experienced in Marketing technology and accustomed to working with agencies on large budget campaigns and accounts.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Support Web & App strategic priorities through the design, build and optimisation of paid media performance across PPC, Paid Social and programmatic display
  2. Support a localised strategy to drive performance across key markets including USA, China & India
  3. Ongoing analysis and optimisation of paid campaigns to improve performance in line with performance based KPIs
  4. Manage media agency resource, spend and budget effectively. Ensure clear communication aligning to commercial objectives
  5. Ensure up to date knowledge on key marketing tech platforms in the key markets, industry trends, competitor activity and latest innovations
  6. Work hand in hand with the Marketing Product teams to ensure their commercial needs are supported with effective audience targeting through paid media
  7. Input to web & app product roadmap alongside Digital Platforms team
  8. Developing strong peer relationships and influencing skills
  9. In line with Digital Analytics, enhance reporting capabilities and raise overall understating of marketing performance across the teams
  10. Lead on other non-digital media channels e.g. OOH, print etc

Measures of Performance:

  1. ROAS/ROI
  2. App downloads and usage
  3. Campaign conversion

Personal Performance:

  1. Minimum of 7 years paid media marketing experience
  2. Proven knowledge and experience of digital marketing & programmatic buying (agency or client side)
  3. Either agency or in-house experience working on large scale PPC and paid media campaigns to a range of objectives to a global audience
  4. Data driven and highly analytical with ability to translate performance data into action to positively affect performance
  5. Ability to link media performance to commercial performance, i.e. strong commercial accumen
  6. Strong knowledge of PPC platforms (Google AdWords certification would be desirable)
  7. Experience of managing PPC Platforms digital media and offline media agencies required
  8. Understanding of range of digital media channels and tactics, e.g.: PPC - Bid Mgmt, RLSA; Display: Prospecting, Re-targeting, lookalike targeting, contextual, dynamic; VOD; Paid Social; affiliate marketing
  9. Offline media planning experience also desirable, i.e. Print, OOH
  10. Experience of 3rd party data matching and working with data providers an advantage
  11. Experience of working with DSP (Demand Side Platforms), DCO (Dynamic creative optimisation) and DMP (Data management platforms) for programmatic buying required.
  12. Experience of working on campaigns with variety of objectives, i.e upper funnel brand objectives and lower funnel direct response objectives
  13. Understanding of tagging and analytics to attribute performance
  14. Good time management skills with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks under pressure to meet deadlines
  15. Driven, proactive team player able to work individually and as part of a team
  16. Ability to present and story tell to showcase the impact of media activity
