Salary - £19,875 per annum for 36 hours per week based at Redhill RH1 1YB
Fixed term for 6 months.

About the Role

The role:
You will be undertaking general and varied administrative duties in order to provide support to the Resource Team and the frontline Community Mental Health operational team within the integrated partnership of Surrey County Council Adult Social Care and Surrey & Borders NHS Foundation Trust.
Using the county council’s SAP system, you will requisition goods and services and record time administration data. Microsoft Excel experience/skills would be an advantage.
You will be expected to deal with complex telephone enquiries, a wide range of correspondence, some diary management and occasionally you will take minutes for meetings.
You will work with highly confidential and sensitive information.
As this is a generalist role, you duties will be varied according to the needs of the service.
IT training will be provided
A basic DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check is required for this role.
To be shortlisted for interview for this position your application and personal statement will clearly evidence the following:
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Are well organised and able to work under pressure, on occasions, to tight deadlines.
- Have excellent customer service and IT skills.
- Have previous experience of working in a busy office environment; and
- Have the ability to work as part of a team whilst being proactive and using your initiative.
- Have a strong work ethic and understand the needs of confidentiality in a sensitive role such as this.
If shortlisted, you’ll be asked to take a 30 minute IT exercise and a 45 minute panel interview.
