We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General/Adult Nurse with experience within Mental Health and Learning Disabilities to support their RMN and RNLD colleagues and join our client's Medium-Secure U nit situated just four miles north east of York in the village of Stockton on the Forrest. This is a full-time role but we are also intersted in hearing from applicants seeking to negotiate a part-time hours opportunity Our client is a major provider of UK independent mental health care. Set within a Grade Two listed country house dating back to 1800, this hospital provides p rogrammes that support patients with mental health and/or personality disorders are focused towards those who; require self-harm reduction, need support with violent behaviour and present with offence-specific behaviours. As a Registered Nurse you will undertake and manage direct patient care, having participated fully in the assessment, planning and evaluation of care needs. Undertake the delivery of care, including individual and group sessions, to agreed quality standards as prescribed by internal procedures and health legislation. Person requirements: A Registered General/Adult Nurse with full NMC (part 1 or 12) registration. Up-to-date knowledge of the Mental Health Act. Experience within Mental Health and/or Learning Disabilities is desirable although dependant on background support may be given to successful applicants seeking to develop further into this setting.
