Key responsibilities:

* Working for an 'Outstanding' OFSTED Nursery

* Supporting the Room Manager and other practitioners to deliver exceptional childcare within the room

* Ensuring stimulating and inspiring activities are provided

* Working with a strong and supportive team to deliver an exciting curriculum

* Managing a team of teaching professionals who are creative and like a challenge

* Teaching a diverse mix of children, including SEN pupils

* Demonstrating good practice, including good organisational skills

Extras:

* A Leadership and management qualification

* Training in Paediatric First Aid

Required skills set & experience:

* A Level 3 qualification in childcare - NNEB, BTEC, NVQ 3 or equivalent

* A commitment and dedication to delivering high-quality childcare

* Experience of managing an early years setting and leading a team

* An extensive knowledge of the EYFS and the OFSTED framework

* Knowledge of the current legislation surrounding childcare safeguarding procedures

* A commitment to your own career development

* An ability to implement procedures, including health & safety

* Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills

* An excellent understanding of the needs of young children

* An ability to develop good working relationships with parents and carers and an understanding of the importance of partnership working
