Dean Healthcare is a leading Health & Social Care agency who provides recruitment services to the region’s leading care providers both in the private and public sectors.

We currently require a full-time Branch Administrator to cover maternity leave, for our Bristol branch who will be responsible for the branches administration duties which includes the compliance and the weekly payroll of all of our temporary staff.

As the Branch Administrator you will be at the heart of everything that we do, without your presence we would not be able to be the success that we are.

Duties of the role:

* Be present on the front desk – you will be the first point of call for any visitors in the branch

* Run the weekly Payroll for over 200 staff and ensuring all the appropriate administration is completed within the relevant timescales and deadlines

* Efficiently deal with temporary staff payroll queries, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner

* Support with the temporary staff recruitment process and complete the recruitment administration for all new starters in line with company standards and regulations, utilising and updating the company database

* Support with training administration

* Archive staff files in line with company procedure

* Keep reception area and kitchen clean and tidy and provide refreshments as and when required to clients/customers and all visitors

* General office duties to include disturbing incoming mail and posting external mail, stationery and uniform stock take

* Assist with Health & Safety duties

* Answer the telephones in a professional manner and ensure all messages are re-laid to the appropriate person

* Ensure all administration is kept up to date and in line with company policies and procedures

* Support with company administration to include compliance audits, social media and any other ad hoc duties

* Liaise extensively with managers, colleagues and external bodies as and when required

Skills & Experience:

* A minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role that includes processing payroll

* Good spelling, grammar and numeracy

* Experience in using MS Excel at an intermediate to advanced level alongside MS Outlook, MS Office software

* Proficient in the administration of payroll and the input of details onto a database and into spreadsheets

* Accuracy and an eye for detail, with a meticulous, systematic approach to problem solving

* Excellent organisational skills and able to manage own workload. Competent in multi-tasking.

* Able to provide an excellent standard of customer service both on the telephone and in person

* Efficient and confident in the dealing with matters some of which may be sensitive

* Trustworthiness and discretion when handling confidential information

* Capable of working well in a team environment and on own initiative

* Adept at dealing with challenges and not shy to take on extra responsibilities

* Have the ability to work under pressure and to work to strict deadlines

Qualifications:

Good general education (minimum GCSE/O level standard to include English & Maths)
