Privacy Manager, GDPR, Media, part time 

Our client in the media sector is seeking a Privacy Manager on a part time basis, 3 days a week. The role is based in their office in Central London. 

Reporting to the Head of Compliance the Privacy Manager will drive forward their privacy programme being the company's expert in all matters relating to data and privacy, owning, creating and updating policy documents, contracts, consumer communications and training modules and keeping up to date with legislative changes and updating the business as appropriate. The Privacy Manager will ensure mandatory documentation required by GDPR/DPA 2018 is maintained, reviewed and kept up to date.

Candidates will have demonstrable experience in privacy and data protection and providing guidance and direction for data protection compliance, ideally from the media sector (but they would also consider FMCG, retail, travel or e-commerce). He/she will have detailed knowledge of data protection legislation, including GDPR and  DPA 2018; international exposure is also an advantage. He/she must have been through GDPR process and be confident in their own decision making. The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and be a strong business partner understanding technology and commercial concepts quickly is crucial. Candidates must be comfortable in a media fast paced environment.
