Job Details
You will form part of a multi-skilled, global team that works collaboratively alongside developers, product owners and business users to design a range of financial applications. Projects are highly varied and can range from specialised risk management applications for front-office staff to regulatory dashboards to specialised data visualisation applications.
You will shape the proposition, experience, interaction patterns, design decisions and outcomes to be delivered. You will take raw ideas, wireframes and sketches and design high-quality, high resolution visual designs and/or prototypes of financial applications.
We’re looking a qualification in a design discipline and experience of designing responsive, digital applications particularly HTML5 single-page web applications or in dashboard applications targeting desktop and mobile devices. You will need a good understanding of the end-to-end design and user-experience process with a broad spectrum of hands-on skills including user interviews, storyboarding, facilitating workshops, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
You will be fluent in relevant design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Sketch.
If you are excited by being part of a global, multi-disciplinary service which has been established to disrupt the current market then please apply now!

Working at Macquarie
We believe in providing a positive environment for all our staff that is innovative and inspiring. For our female staff, Macquarie’s senior leaders are actively involved in increasing the representation of females in management positions. In June 2014, we launched a mentoring programme for females, with the following two objectives:
- Address female retention rates at Senior Manager level and improve our diverse pipeline of talent;
- Engage female Senior Managers by providing tools and support around their personal development;
The programme pairs up Senior Managers with Directors, who meet on a monthly basis, and are supported by active group sessions (bi-monthly) with an external facilitator.
We select some of the brightest minds to help us in solving complex challenges for our clients. We recognise that recruiting talent from varied backgrounds is essential to improving our understanding of the marketplace, and enhancing creativity and problem-solving capabilities in our businesses.
Because of this, our commitment to you is to create a diverse and inclusive workplace regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity or cultural background.
We make this commitment not only because it is the right thing to do but it opens up a world of opportunity, securing the future of our people, our success and our business
