A great opportunity has come up with a local authority in Hertfordshire for a part time Land Drainage Engineer.

The team at the council is keen for somebody to come on for a part time basis to procure and manage the contractors who maintain the council’s land drainage assets.

Some Key Skills Include:

* Co-ordination of drainage resources to ensure timely delivery of projects

* To provide advice and guidance regarding drainage influences, maintenance plans and liaising with external agencies / government departments

* Assist in the control & supervision of flood management Projects

* Develop and maintain departmental systems and procedures

* Promote close working across the group

* Happy to work largely on their own on the delivery of work

Essential experience / qualifications

* Qualification – Degree Level Civil Engineer

* Experience – Preferred 5 years’ experience minimum
