A fantastic opportunity has come up with one of our most prestigious clients based in the Buckinghamshire area. They are currently looking for an experienced Private Sector Housing Officer to assist them on a part time basis for an initial 3 months.
About the Role
Working within a busy team you will be required to assist with enforcement within HMOs and potentially become the Lead Officer for an important multi agency project. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Enforcing the housing health and safety rating system, especially as it applies to HMOs
* Preparing schedules of work
* Investigating breaches of HMO management regulations
* Investigating breaches of HMO licensing regulations
* Taking and preparing witness statements
* Undertaking PACE interviews
* Preparing prosecution files
About You
About you:
An up to date knowledge of Housing and HMO legislation is essential. You will have at least 3 year’s hands on experience dealing with Private Sector Housing and EHORB registration or CIEH is preferable but not essential.
