AICS Group is looking for a Male Support Worker to join on the package where- our Client met with a Road traffic accident and have a Brain Injury.
The AICS Group specialises in providing community-based rehabilitation and support to clients who suffered from a brain injury. Assisting with daily therapy led rehabilitation and daily living task.
We provide Rehabilitation Support to adults and children within the community or in rehabilitation settings. We are looking for people with excellent communication skills, motivation, initiative, flexibility and a genuine desire to support our service users to maximise their potential. This role provides immense job satisfaction within a busy and varied environment, working with a range of health and social care professionals.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Client: Our Client met with a road traffic accident and Need to be involved with clients independence. Therefore, looking for Male Rehabilitation Support Worker who can work on:
Every Saturday
12 Noon to 7pm
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Skills:
•Minimum 6 months of experience in health and social care, preferably with adults or children who have a brain injury
•Basic understanding of cognitive and physical impairment
•Demonstrate an ability to relate respectfully to people with physical disabilities
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to liaise with other professionals daily
•Ability to work productively as part of a team
•The ability to relate to people from a wide variety of backgrounds
•Skills in communicating with tact and sensitivity
•The ability to remain calm under pressure
Desirable Skills:
•Current and clean drivers license
•Experience in providing care to people living in the community
