The AICS Group is looking for a Polish Speaking Female Support Worker to work with our client who lives in Luton.
The AICS Group specialises in providing community based rehabilitation and support to clients who suffered from a brain injury. Assisting with daily therapy led rehabilitation and daily living task.
We provide Rehabilitation Support to adults and children within the community or in rehabilitation settings. We are looking for people with excellent communication skills, motivation, initiative, flexibility and a genuine desire to support our service users to maximise their potential.
This role provides immense job satisfaction within a busy and varied environment, working with a range of health and social care professionals.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Client: Our Client met with a Road Traffic Accident and caused Cognitive Difficulties and need assistance in:
Tasks:
Letter & correspondence
Executive functions
House tasks
Specific Physical exercises
Therefore, looking for Support Worker who can work:
Wednesday and Friday 10am to 4pm
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Skills:
•Minimum 6 months of experience in health and social care, preferably with adults or children who have a brain injury
•Basic understanding of cognitive and physical impairment
•Demonstrate ability to relate respectfully to people with physical disabilities
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to liaise with other professionals daily
•Ability to work productively as part of a team
•The ability to relate to people from a wide variety of backgrounds
•Skills in communicating with tact and sensitivity
•The ability to remain calm under pressure
Desirable Skills:
•Current and clean drivers licence
•Experience of providing care to people living in the community
