AICS Group is looking for a Female Support Worker to join on the package where- our Client has a history of AVM Bleed and Epilepsy.
The AICS Group specialises in providing community-based rehabilitation and support to clients who suffered from a brain injury. Assisting with daily therapy led rehabilitation and daily living task.
We provide Rehabilitation Support to adults and children within the community or in rehabilitation settings. We are looking for people with excellent communication skills, motivation, initiative, flexibility and a genuine desire to support our service users to maximise their potential. This role provides immense job satisfaction within a busy and varied environment, working with a range of health and social care professionals.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Client suffered from Acquired Brain Injury in 2010 and have a history of AVM Bleeds and Epilepsy
Therefore, looking for a Strong Female Support Worker who can be:
Responsible for supporting the team, taking clear and precise direction
Able to work early mornings from 6 am – 8 am and 3.30pm – 22.00pm, including some weekends
Must be a driver
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Skills:
•Minimum 6 months of experience in health and social care, preferably with adults or children who have a brain injury
•Basic understanding of cognitive and physical impairment
•Demonstrate the ability to relate respectfully to people with physical disabilities
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to liaise with other professionals daily
•Ability to work productively as part of a team
•The ability to relate to people from a wide variety of backgrounds
•Skills in communicating with tact and sensitivity
•The ability to remain calm under pressure
Desirable Skills:
•Current and clean drivers license
•Experience of providing care to people living in the community
