We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Marketing Executive to join our marketing team, reporting to the Senior Market Manager. 

You will join a fast-paced, dynamic and successful team to coordinate the delivery of tactical campaigns across the portfolio and contribute to the delivery of the Marketing plan working closely with Product and Market Managers.

You will coordinate internal communication as well as PR and external communications that increase visibility of the value of in vitro diagnostic across the UK and Ireland. In addition, you will work closely with the other Marketing Executives towards the management of events, both Roche organised and third party.

You will become a digital marketing champion within the marketing team, leading the utilisation of Salesforce for Marketing through Eloqua, ensuring that digital assets on Showpad are appropriate, deliver analytical reports on the usage of Marketing collateral and suggest implementation of new practices to the marketing team in the field of digital marketing.

In this role, you will stay closely connected with our global marketing colleagues to identify next generation tools and disseminate the adoption of new tools/concepts into the UK marketing organisation.

The role also encompasses ownership of communications with internal stakeholders, (sales teams, other marketing functions, various other internal business areas) including production of communications, decision making on channels, analytics and feedback mechanisms.

You will act as a mentor to guide our marketing intern community throughout their placements, ensuring we continue to deliver value both for the Company and for the interns, leading on the development of new and improved ways of working, and evolving the intern programme in consultation with HR and marketing management.

Accountable for adherence to marketing processes and brand guidelines, you will be the champion for the wider team.

Who are you

You have a Business/marketing degree or equivalent, and whilst a formal marketing (e.g. CIM) qualification is not essential it would be an advantage, as would knowledge of a healthcare marketing environment.

Knowledge and experience of salesforce.com are highly desirable.

You are dynamic, hardworking and self-reliant with a flexible attitude to challenging situations. With a high level of organisation skills you have the ability to work independently and are able to prioritise tasks in order to maximise productivity. Your strong influencing skills enable you to work effectively across multi-disciplinary teams. Experience of agile working practices would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be digitally focused with a strong desire to acquire excellent customer insights, have experience in a marketing and/or sales role together with delivery of marketing campaigns, business to business product launches and event planning. To be successful in this position you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation);
  • Copywriting experience; English as mother tongue standard
  • Excellent presentation and organisational skills
  • Competence in Microsoft Office products.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail, including good proofing skills
  • High sense of personal responsibility with a strong work ethic with a desire for professional development
  • Ability to influence in a highly complex, cross-functional environment and stay focused on critical goals and outcomes; Ability to hit deadlines and work under pressure
  • Analytically minded, able to analyse/report on engagement levels, track marketing performance and return on investment
  • Able to prepare weekly or monthly reports for management, monitor and report on competitor activity
