Job Details

Key responsibilities will include:  

  • Review, analyse and advise on funding, liquidity and capital aspects of new business activities or transactions in EMEA region
  • Prepare and review internal liquidity and capital management documentation and external regulatory reporting for relevant entities in EMEA region
  • Define and review liquidity stress scenarios for relevant EMEA entities and ensure compliance with associated requirements
  • Developing strategy, obtaining senior management approvals and supporting execution of global funding transactions 
  • Co-ordinate and report on relevant EMEA business unit external banking relationship interactions
  • Develop and maintain global debt investor marketing strategy for senior GT management 
  • Responsible for ensuring Macquarie’s Green Finance Framework and Transaction reporting and controls are adhered to
  • Support and execute private placement debt opportunities

 

About you  

This role will suit you if you are well organised, with a high attention to detail and enjoy problem solving. In addition we ask that you have: 

  • experience in Macquarie’s FMG GT headquarters in Sydney - highly desired to leverage existing knowledge of internal metrics, procedures and professional relationships
  • 2-5 years experience in liquidity risk management and global funding markets
  • Progression towards the CFA qualification
  • an undergraduate degree in Finance and/or Economics
  • strong communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • the ability to develop strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders within the organisation 
  • the ability to critically analyse, summarise and disseminate complex information  
  • high attention to detail, proactive and the ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously 
  • experience using Excel, VBA and PowerPoint would be beneficial
