Disability Analyst – Personal Independent Payments (PIP)
Salary: £32,000 plus excellent benefits package
Job Type: Full and part time
The Treatment Network is looking for qualified and motivated medical practitioners ready for an exciting new step in their career. You will currently be working as an occupational therapist, physiotherapist, paramedic or nurse, have excellent interpersonal skills, be self-motivated and comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team.
As a Disability Analyst you will utilise and build upon your existing clinical knowledge to undertake functional assessments for those accessing PIP, in accordance with Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) guidelines. This will include undertaking physical examinations to help determine a person’s ability to complete daily activities. You will offer advice on the basis of these assessments, providing comprehensive written reports that will assist the decision-making process.
Comprehensive training will be offered as well as ongoing support from peers and managers. You will be an integral part of an established team of health professionals and rewarded with a generous salary and fantastic benefits package.
Person specification:
* Minimum 2 years post-qualified experience in your relevant field
* The ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team, building positive relationships with health colleagues, operational management and support staff
* IT fluency, including typing skills
* Must maintain registration and continuous professional development in accordance with Post Registration and Practice (PREP) standards
