We are currently working with an affordable housing provider to assist them with their search for an Income Officer working part time, 17.5 hours per week.

You will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks including negotiating payment arrangements with tenants, providing basic welfare benefit and money advice and preparing statements and applications for court.

You will also attend court and visit tenants in their home.

To be successful in this role you require experience in income management or debt recovery/collection within the affordable housing sector coupled with excellent customer service skills and a working knowledge of welfare benefits.

You must have a proactive approach and possess the ability to work without close supervision and the ability to prioritise a busy workload is also key requirements of this position.

As you'll need to travel in this role, having a car and full driving licence is essential. A DBS check will also be undertaken for the successful candidate.
