PART TIME ACCOUNTS CLERK REQUIRED FOR AN IMMEDIATE START! BASED IN STECHFORD/BIRMINGHAM £12PH - 15 HOURS PER WEEK - PERMANENT!
My client is a well known transport company and due to expansion they are now looking for a Part Time Accounts Clerk to join them on a permanent basis. The role will be covering 15 hours per week and will work on a Wednesday and Friday (there might be some flexibility around these dates). This is a pivotal role for the business and will be covering a range of accounts duties including Invoice Processing and Credit Control. There will need a degree of flexibility (with notice) of potentially more hours to work covering busy periods or sickness however as much notice will be provided as possible. This position would well suit an individual who's been working in all round accounts function within a small business. This is an immediate requirement and as such would need candidates who could start quickly.
[ The role ]
- File proof of delivery through the bespoke system
- Open post and deal with accordingly
- Open e-mails and deal with all sales related queries
- Run invoices and attach all proof of deliveries
- Credit Control query and chasing
- Reconciling statements
[ Person and skills required ]
- Previous experience of working within an accounts function
- Friendly with a good sense of humour
- Experience of working with accounting software with ability to quickly absorb information
- Previous experience of working within a small to medium size business is ideal
