Seeking qualified Support Workers with experience working in children's settings for shift work in Coventry
Your new company
This organisation provides services to Children in residential settings with needs such as Autism, learning disabilities and challenging behaviour, as well as mental health, drug and alcohol abuse and homelessness. They are passionate about providing the upmost care for the children as well as ensuring they have the best workers to support them.
Your new role
As the Support Worker, your responsibilities and duties will include:
* Providing personal care
* Administering medication
* Assisting with daily schedules and supporting in all activities
* Assisting with meal times and feeding where required
* Ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position you will have:
* A NVQ level 3 in children and young people
* Experience working in a children’s residential setting
* Good communication and rapport building skills
* Experience administering medication
* A warm and empathetic nature with the ability to follow daily plans
* The motivation to go the extra mile for your clients to ensure they are receiving the best quality care.
* A driving licence is desirable but not essential
What you'll get in return
You will work on an ongoing temporary basis ranging from part time hours to full time hours.
Onsite parking and a competitive rate are on offer.
