Location: Manchester (with travel to Leeds)

The NCS Training Coordinator

The NCS Training Coordinator is responsible for a variety of logistical and administrative tasks, supporting the wider Training Team in delivering NCS training. Directly reporting to the Regional Training Manager, they will work from one of our office bases to support multiple NCS seasonal staff training events running simultaneously.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the logistics of NCS Training events across Manchester and Leeds.
  • Frequent travel transporting boxes of resources to venues (this will include heavy lifting)
  • Manage set up and set down of training events.
  • Stock taking and managing resources, refreshments and equipment.

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Proven experience of working in a fast paced and demanding environment.
  • Strikingly positive attitude and integrity.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise effectively when carrying out multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Excellent organisation skills and commitment to detail.
  • Learns from their mistakes and always commits to performing at their best
  • Clean, driving licence and access to a car.

Beneficial:

  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Understanding of risk management and data protection

We run a fast-paced and challenging programme which requires a high level of flexibility. In addition to the responsibilities outlined you may be required by The Challenge to undertake any duties within your skills and capabilities which The Challenge reasonably considers necessary to meet the needs of the NCS Programme.

Work Dates (0900-1700):

  • Predominantly Mondays and Fridays between 16th May and 5th July, excluding Bank Holidays*
  • (*Additional dates include: Thursday 16th May, Tuesday 28th May, Thursday 6th June, Thursday 13th June, Thursday 20th June.)
