Public Practice Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on an Accounts or Business Services Senior opportunity with a leading and highly progressive firm of Accountants in Maidstone.

The successsful individual will ideally be ACA or ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified (AAT Qualified also considered) with a significant backround in accountancy practice and be responsible for providing accounting services to clients from an array of sectors.

The role will involve the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, tax compliance, liaising directly with clients and supervising junior staff. There will be plenty of client contact so strong communication skills and the ability to deal with ad hoc queries is desirable.

Salary is dependent on experience and our client is offering an excellent benefits package. Part time will also be considered.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, limited companies and LLPs
Preparation of management accounts
Review of VAT returns and bookkeeping
Tax compliance and liaising with Tax dept
Reviewing the work of junior staff
HMRC correspondence
Dealing with ad hoc client queries

Skills:

ACA or ACCA Qualified (ideally)
Part Qualified/ AAT Qualified also considered
Practice experience is essential
