They are a well-established and leading programme publisher and provider of digital and signage solutions for sports event marketing. The Role: The Graduate Commercial & Events Executive will be based at the Head Office in Liverpool and you will be reporting to the Marketing Director. The role will include Event Management, Account Management and Business development. This position is perfect for a person with a keen interest in a variety of sports. * Help build and manage teams and structures at events. * Work on initiatives that help improve the existing business with clients, or help attract new clients. * Communicate ideas to clients that can be used in publishing or signage projects. * Be organised and have an 'action list' of things that are required to be done to manage the existing customers and events * Required to manage part time staff and sub-contractors You: * Educated to a degree level in Events Management or relevant degree (2:1 or higher) * Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (knowledge of photo or video editing is helpful) * Enthusiastic and the ability to communicate well * Excellent customer relation skills * Be committed to carrying out a project through to completion * To have some in depth knowledge of at least one sport is preferable * Previous experience of working in a sporting environment is helpful, though not essential * Any knowledge of presentation software such as Photoshop * Any knowledge of CRM or contact management software * Full Driving Licence is essential What you get: * Salary: up to 24K per annum (Pro Rata) * Fixed Term Contract (8 months) potentially becoming a permanent role * Interesting projects to challenge and push you * The Graduate Commercial & Events Executive will have lots of opportunity for travel * Exposure to leading sport franchises and organisations * Involvement in a busy schedule of iconic sporting occasions * Opportunity to develop skills and experience with an expanding company If you are interested in this placement please apply by clicking on the link below or contact Graduate Talent Solutions for further details.
