Are you interested in working for a highly respected provider of social housing within one of their supported living services? A housing association with a portfolio of approximately 30,000 properties is currently seeking to take on a supported living officer within a service specialising in low level learning disabilities and mental health set in beautiful grounds near Poole. This role is a fixed term contract initially up until December and the salary of £21,740 is pro rata'd for the part time 20-24 hours.
You will use your experience within the sector to assist service users to remain independent, providing appropriate advice and ensuring their welfare at all times. You will be tasked with promoting community engagement with their involvement in activities and groups and assisting in contact with relatives, welfare services and advocates. You will also be reporting on the day to day repairs and maintenance within the project.
You will benefit from working flexibly as the service is open to negotiating the days in which you work the hours so this could be across three or four days. The role also has no On Call service so there is no working any anti-social hours. Finally you will also benefit from a supportive team of likeminded individuals.
If you are readily available and have a recent DBS and this role sounds like it may be of interest to you then please do not hesitate to get in contact with Amy Gee on (phone number removed)
