Are you looking for an administration and receptionist opportunity based within Preston?

If yes, then this may be the role for you!
A Primary School in Preston is looking to appoint a new administrative assistant to their reception team to start as soon as possible. The successful applicant will ideally have SIMS experience, hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, and be experienced at working in a Primary School environment (although this isn't essential).
This is a part-time role, 2-3 days a week from 8.30am-16.00pm, beginning after Easter until the end of summer (or possibly longer.)
The role will involve assisting with day-to-day administration on behalf of the administration team and senior colleagues of the school and manning an extremely busy school office. The successful applicant will hold a key role within the school and will be responsible for completing tasks that ensure a smooth and professional operation.
Responsibilities of the role will include
Being the first point of contact for students, staff and visitors
Assisting with administration tasks
Organising and distributing the post and messages
Using the central printing services
Keeping records, documents and electronic filing organised
Using school software packages
Requirements
Administration experience
SIMS experience (preferred)
Excel experience (essential)
An enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred)
Clear and confident communication skills (both verbally and written form)
A highly presentable appearance
