Becoming an Accounts Receivable Clerk with Capita Local Government

***Part Time 3 Days per week***

Capita Local Government Services provides finance outsourcing services to a number of local authorities.

An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to play a key role in delivering high quality business processes. The successful applicant will need to have a flexible attitude to work and see challenge and change as a positive.

What you will do:

* To ensure the efficient and timely processing of Accounts Receivable invoices in the Capita Shared Service Centre

* Liaise with the onsite contact manager to ensure the service delivered meets the clients needs and the requirements of the contract

* Deal with queries arising from either customers or retained Council staff in a prompt and informative manner

* Deal with customers both the phone and email

Your Experience will include;

* 3 GCSE A*- C (or equivalent) including Maths and English.

* Experience of working in a team, preferably within a financial environment.

* Good listening skills

* Understanding of the importance of keeping good records.

* Ability to demonstrate confident and effective communication skills with both internal and external customers by telephone, email and letter.

* Be self-motivated, flexible whilst organised, to ensure deadlines are met the minimum of supervision.

* Knowledge and ability to use standard office IT systems (e.g. Excel and Word) for the input and retrieval of data).

* Tenacious but patient.
