I am looking for an experienced part-time medical receptionist to work in a busy GP surgery in North Leeds.
My client is offering a fixed term position with immediate start until November. The role is in a busy GP surgery in LS8 working Tuesday and Friday 8.00am - 6.00pm with 1 hour for lunch.
The hourly rate of pay is £8.93 and the successful candidate must be flexible to cover holidays if required.
*A valid DBS certificate must be presented for candidates to be considered*
Essential skills and experience:
Previous experience as a medical receptionist in a busy GP surgery
Smartcard holder
Confident use of SystmOne and sound IT skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Excellent written and communication skills
The successful candidate will have:
Excellent face to face people skills with an excellent telephone manner
Experience booking appointments and answering phonecalls
First point of contact for staff, visitors and patients
Be professional and well-presented member of a reception team
Ability to maintain and respect the need for confidentiality at all times
Full discretion and confidentiality
