Retail Brand Manager/Buyer (Beauty Industry) - PART TIME, Essex

We have an super exciting opportunity for someone wishing the have the flexibility of working Part Time (24 hours per week 3 full days or spread over 4/5 days). This role is a must for a Brand, Buying Pro with experience/genuine passion for the beauty industry as you will be involved in identifying, bringing on new up and coming on trend brands within this space!!

We need a keen negotiator who is also able measure brand launches and ongoing success with sharp analytical and reporting skills.

The role will require being based within HO Essex and also time in London retail stores.

Job description

* responsible for products/services matching customer requirements

* monitoring and analysing market trends with focus on start-ups, emerging brands

* communicating/negotiating with suppliers which fit with the context of the brand

* monitoring and analysing competitive markets

* liaising with Store Manager, Marketing Department and E-commerce

* liaising with Finance Department on budgets and purchases

* analysing and reporting the success and performance of product lines

* identifying potential business opportunities and collaborations within the industry

* playing a key part in sourcing and buying the brand products and ensuring that all aspects of the supply chain align with the brand

* analysing and reporting customer needs, feedback and reaction to the products

* working with brands marketing material in order to promote brands on and offline

* liaising with brands to organize product training

* liaising with brands to host store events to promote particular brands

* negotiating prices with suppliers

* maintaining relationship with existing suppliers while seeking new ones

Skills:

* computer literate: advanced in Excel, Word & Power Point

* previous relevant experience of at least 2 years

* good analytical and numerical skills

* excellent communicator

* have good presentation skills

* team player
