We are an effective and powerful voice – championing everyone who works in education.   As a Member Advisor, you will be responsible for advising NEU members on a wide range of employment concerns arising from their role in education. In doing so, you will work as part of a close-knit team and cover a range of employment-related matters including workload, capability, pay and redundancy.   You will be highly motivated and able to make clear, informed and effective decisions. You will have a sound understanding of employment concerns and the role of trade unions in addressing them. Additionally, you will demonstrate strong IT literacy skills, good oral and written communication skills and an excellent telephone manner. A supportive team worker, you will be able to function comfortably during periods of increased pressure.
