A Qualified Social Worker is required for an interim position based in Birmingham paying £14 - £16 per hour.


Your new company
Due to a new partnership between Birmingham City Council and Hays, we are recruiting on behalf of a globally and nationally recognised organisation. You will be field based across the Birmingham region, whilst having a base in their new prestigious developed offices, giving you the environmental motivation to perform the best at your job. Due to an increase in cases and holiday cover they are looking for part-time temporary contract cover for the next couple of months.

Your new role
In this position you will need to be able to work in a fast paced environment and have recently qualified as an Adults Social Worker with placement experience in front line social work. You will need to be happy to work regionally, have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable to pick up new and existing cases.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will require a Social Work qualification (BA Social Work, CQSW, DipSW, CSS or CCETSW approved equivalent). It is also essential that you have a current professional registration and a valid Enhanced DBS.
