Do you have a particular specialism that you could offer to small groups of secondary age pupils? Would you be interested in delivering your specialism across various schools in Manchester?
If the answer to the above is yes the Vision For Education have opportunities for you.
We currently have demand for sessional tutors to work in Pupil Referral Units across Manchester. The schools have a need for people who can deliver lessons on a particular topic which is going to increase levels of engagement and enhance pupils’ experience of education.
Examples of the types of topics that would be considered:
Music Production
Digital Media
Website building
Team-building sports
Mindfulness/Wellbeing
Yoga
Photography
Art
To be considered for the position you must have:
• Proven experience of instructing or teaching young people is essential
• Holds a full UK driving licence and has business insurance on their vehicle is preferred
• A passion for delivering your specialism
• Has experience of implementing a variety of de-escalation strategies in challenging situations involving young people.
The salary for this position will be dependent upon experience and qualifications, and there is the opportunity to work on a part-time and full-time basis.
