Contract: Permananet, Part Time
Hours: 15 hours, working 2-3 days per week

Dorset Software is a leading provider of bespoke business applications, development consultancy and IT support services based in Poole, Dorset. As part of our continued expansion, the company is currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the Finance team.

Purchase Ledger Clerk - The Role:

This is a great role based in a dynamic and friendly technology company which requires a flexible and motivated individual. Reporting to the Management Accountant, you are responsible for ensuring all suppliers are paid correctly and on time.

For the right individual, the role is likely to grow in hours, finance tasks and responsibilities over the next few years.

Purchase Ledger Clerk - Key Responsibilities:

  • Matching, checking and processing invoices.
  • Processing BACS payment runs for suppliers.
  • Filing Invoices & statements.
  • Petty Cash and reconciliations.
  • Reconcile Credit Card statements & input to accounting software.
  • Reconciliation and importing of staff expenses.
  • Being first point of contact for all purchase ledger enquiries.
  • Liaise with Procurement to resolve any purchase invoice issues.
  • Identify and improve any internal purchase ledger control issues.
