Do you have a keen interest and experience working in Business Continuity? Could you drive and create company wide Business Continuity Strategies, ensuring that our clients standards and controls are aligned and effectively implemented and maintained?

If so, then they have an exciting opportunity for a Business Continuity Manager to join their Asset’s department!

‘Deliver high quality homes and services for their customers’ is one of their five strategic aims, and the one that sets out their commitment to keeping their homes in great condition. This is why they are looking for an experienced Business Continuity Manager.

As a Business Continuity Manager you will design, deliver and manage the Business Continuity Policy, standards and associated controls whilst being a trusted advisor that provides; functional leadership, training, awareness and specialist knowledge of global relevant standards, regulations and future direction. You’ll also be responsible for reviewing continuity plans for their third party suppliers and contractors.

To be successful in your application for this role you must have experience of business continuity in a similar sector (construction/ property management/ social housing sector) alongside substantial experience of stakeholder management. You’ll know their housing stock is key to their business, so they’re looking for someone whose skill set and background is more construction and property focused than IT.

The right person will possess a relevant qualification in Business Continuity or equivalent business continuity experience and be logical and analytical. Alongside these qualifications you must be an effective communicator (verbal/written) with well developed presentation skills, possessing the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels to achieve results.

You’ll also be expected to support with the organisation’s Fire Risk strategy, a hot topic in the industry at the moment! Don’t worry if you haven’t got any Fire Risk experience, this isn’t necessary. Our client invest in their people and they would be willing to upskill you in this area.

The Asset’s department are currently under represented by Female and BME colleagues, therefore they particularly welcome applications from Female and BME applicants.

Part time applications will also be considered.
